interesting how new york city is partially sat astride long island, a palce i know relatively little about. apparently there's beaches, and suburbs, and places held high by the local wealthy. apparently queens has nearly one fifth of it made up of asians. apparently there's two native american reservations on long island. they call new york a "melting pot". weird. there's a shitload of artists from long island.
