hah i guess u2 members are @ carnegie hall tonight, or a few days ago. somewhere around that.
what the fuck is carnegie hall?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnegie_Hall
apparently paid for by anderw carnegie and build in 1891, a famous performance hall in nyc.
apparently the band MGMT was formed at a new york college as music majors, heh.

not sure if that helps at all heh.
well apparently the NYC scene is supposed to be getting worse, due to increasing prices and stuff. but, Brooklyn's scene seems to be getting better as Manhattan chaces out the artists with the high prices.
apparently this has NYC shows listed

i guess Brooklyn is the place to go to find Columbus Ohio style dives for indie stuff and the like. i dont know, but it might be the spot to look. which'd mean it'd be nice to go to school there... which unfortunately i think wont happen given the fact that there's just no schools there hah. at least not with the CUNY network. but i can check. still, all the same, i haven't seen shit about it.
